In EMERGENT, take on the role of a high school student with subtle superpowers who must face interdimensional horrors to save their town. Don't forget about your regular responsibilities though- after all, you want a life to go back to when this is all over! You'll have to balance calculus homework with sneaking into monster lairs and hitting up the local hardware store to get what you need to craft a microwave ray gun.
You'll face monsters who can snap bones like toothpicks and break the very laws of physics. But thankfully, they have weaknesses- weaknesses you can exploit! Whatever you do, don't fight fair!

Choose from 5 different classes of powers, each suited to different playstyles and game experiences. Want to tackle investigation head on with a bit of an edge? Play an informant like Divination to gain glimpses into the past (or future!) Want an edge to combat? Play a frontliner like Zenith and become a living weapon!
Impactful character backgrounds
Remember- you may have powers, but you're still a high school student! During character creation you pick your responsibilities, strain effects to represent the negative coping skills your character will use to react to the stress they're under, and fears that monsters will use against you.
Expansive crafting system
Craft weapons, traps, shields, and even explosives that exploit the unique weaknesses of each monster you face!
Streamlined team-driven combat
There's no initiative in EMERGENT- instead, players face the monster in alternating player and monster phases, allowing you to work together and act in a different order every round!
And so much more- all in a totally original game system!
EMERGENT features original mechanics in a roll low, variable dice game system. During character creation, assign stats to 18 skills, and attempt to roll under those skill scores as you play. You'll roll a different size dice depending on the difficulty of the action you're attempting!
Purchasing the game gets you access to the 424-page rule book, filled with over 150 art pieces, the monster generator and a bestiary of 12 pre-made monsters you can quickly run for your table, and tokens for print or VTT use.
